Hope Night at New Zealand Eating Disorders Clinic – Thursday, December 12, 2017

New Zealand Eating Disorders Clinic (NZEDC)

Hope Night
Inspiring Hope and
Advocating that Recovery is Possible

NZEDC is hosting a ‘Hope Night’
for people who are struggling with eating disorders and their families.
The purpose of the night is to ‘inspire hope and advocate that recovery is possible.’
It is an opportunity for people who are in the midst of an eating disorder to experience
directly that becoming free of an eating disorder is possible and to encourage parents to
not give up and keep fighting for their loved one.

There will be a panel with a range of different people from parents to people who have
recovered from an eating disorder sharing their journey and providing practical tips.
We also have as a special guest June Alexander from Australia speaking via Skype
about narrative diary writing as a self-help and therapeutic tool.

Date: Tuesday 12 December 2017
Time: 7:00 – 8:30pm
Cost: Free
Venue: Mercury Theatre, 9 Mercury Lane Auckland
