Dina Davis
Dina Davis is an Australian author. Her debut novel, Capriccio, was shortlisted for the NT Chief Minister’s Fiction Award in 2020. Her short stories, articles and poems have appeared in the literary journal Borderlands and several anthologies. Dina was the opening speaker at the 2020 NT Writers’ Festival and gave a reading from her forthcoming novel A Dangerous Daughter. In 2019 Dina co-authored and edited a non-fiction guide for writers, Sharing Writing Skills, published by Ginninderra Press.
Dina is vice president of the NT Writers’ Centre Board. She holds an MA in English and Linguistics, and is a member of the NTWriters Centre, Writing NSW, and the Australian Society of Authors. She has twice been shortlisted for the NT Literary Awards.
When not living in Darwin, NT, Dina resides in Randwick NSW, where she was convenor of the Randwick Writers’ Group from 2013 to 2018. She is married and has three children.
