I am a New Zealander and live on the Gold Coast of Australia with my husband and youngest daughter, a cat, a dog, and fruit bats that live in a tree in the backyard. I work part time editing academic writing, and have a small business running gentle movement and sing-along sessions for elderly people, particularly those with dementia. I run a peer-to-peer recovery group online, and belong to a number of international groups supporting people with eating disorders. I blog about my own experience on a variety of platforms, using this one when feeling opinionated. I am setting up a website to showcase remission stories of people who live in larger bodies.
