Take note: Morning rush is all part of taking care of your self

FullSizeRender Tomorrow (Thursday), I will be up before sunrise, 4am, to drive, take a train, catch a tram, to Melbourne for our 2nd national carer conference.

If you hear of someone causing a traffic jam, you will know that’s me, especially if the report describes a grandmother pulling a suitcase full of books…on eating disorders (of course:-).

Quite likely, I will get stuck in a train door or trip someone up in the morning peak hour rush. Not to worry, any opportunity is a good opportunity to raise awareness of ED and the need to put this illness in the light.

Postscript: I share pictures taken on my walk by the seashore today…the serenity and strength absorbed, will help me survive the urban crush on public transport tomorrow, and allow me to give my best to the wonderful parents who I look forward to meeting in my workshop on ‘Taking Care of Yourself — This is Your Story’. I know that any benefit will be reciprocal.

I feel blessed for this opportunity to share my passion for diary writing, and to provide some self-help and self-care tools.
