Research into Severe and Enduring Anorexia Nervosa

Research into Severe and Enduring Anorexia Nervosa

Research seeking participants who are at least 18 years of age and have experienced Anorexia Nervosa for a period of seven years or more. This project is investigating the experience of severe and enduring anorexia nervosa, and will involve participants photographing 10 images that capture their experience with the eating disorder and discussing this in a two-hour interview.

Participants have reported a sense of power and processing of their experience in other studies using this method. It is hoped that the findings from this study will enhance the overall understanding of how this type of anorexia nervosa is experienced from the perspective of the individuals affected by this disorder. There are no costs and your participation will be kept confidential.
