Christine studied English and creative writing at Rutgers University, NJ, USA and the University of Bristol, UK, and wrote and performed poetry in the US, the UK and the Netherlands, before training as a counselling psychologist and mindfulness teacher in the UK. She has incorporated her love of poetry and writing into her academic and clinical work. She is a member of the Centre for Appearance Researchat the University of the West of England, where she is currently conducting a PhD on Mindful Eating – Conscious Living™: An accessibility, feasibility and pilot efficacy trial of a mindfulness-based intervention for disordered eating.
