My recorded interviews as part of my work as a literary journalist and personal archive have been acquired by the State Library of Victoria. I continue to write occasional pieces for The Melbourne Age newspaper. Otherwise, my time is spent convening a book group at the University of Melbourne and meeting individuals to discuss books.

Why I write

The point about writing is the belief that I have something to say that might help others see an issue more clearly, understand something in greater depth, and bring comfort to the broken and bereft.
