Tanya is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with a background working with personality disorders and eating disorders (EDs). Through this work, she started looking for more effective treatment options, and became the first Australian to be trained in Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT), and to then implement this program in Australia. This also inspired a research interest to make “Over-Control” (OC) and “Under-Control” (UC) conceptualisation more accessible.

Since 2019, Tanya has been working with a research team at Monash University to explore how to conceptualise people with EDs by personality presentation. She is seeking research participants with or without a history of ED, aged between 16-30 to complete an online survey (which may take up to 30 minutes), Access the survey here.
