Roses are red, there’s life after Ed
Roses are red – be hopeful, be determined, never ever give up, for there is life after Ed.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your loved ones:-)
I had the happiest Valentine’s Day ever – my partner George arrived late afternoon with a big bunch of red roses and bottle of champagne. I felt overwhelmed. This was our first Valentine’s Day together. Six years into freedom from my eating disorder, and life gets better and better.
But there was more to come. George said ‘come on, get in the car, let’s go shopping’. I know what you are thinking …
So off we went – no, not to a store where many lovers go on Valentine’s Day, oh no. We did something different. George pulled up by an electrical white goods store! We walked in, hand in hand, ever so romantic, and George said ‘choose a refrigerator’. LOL. So I did, with his help, and the new fridge will be delivered tomorrow. I am still trying to work out the message but whatever it is, it is good:-)
We sipped the champagne after dinner, while watching re-runs of Faulty Towers (John Cleese, so funny). A wonderful day.
Never give up, for there is life after ED. No matter what your age!
