Hi, I am June Alexander, and I am reading my memoir A Girl Called Tim: Escape From an Eating Disorder Hell.
I developed an eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, at the age of 11, and I did not regain my healthy self for many years, until I was age 55. But my life since that age has been absolutely super-super-wonderful. My message is that recovery can occur at every age. Never, ever, ever give up.
In this podcast I will read Chapter 18 in A Girl Called Tim. The title of Chapter 18 is, one word: Soaring.
