Hi, I’m June Alexander, and I am reading my memoir A Girl Called Tim: Escape From an Eating Disorder Hell.
I developed my eating disorder, Anorexia Nervosa, at age 11, and was in my 30’s when I started my recovery journey. At age 55, I regained a connection with my healthy self, and my life since then has been super-wonderful.
My message is that recovery can occur at every age. If you’re experiencing eating disorder symptoms right now, never ever give up. You can get your life back. In this podcast, I will read chapter 5 of A Girl Called Tim, and the title of chapter 5 is, On Exchange in Missouri. Here we go.
